Ultrasound guided injection treatment

Ultrasound guided injection are a simple procedure that harness the potential of your own cells to trigger and accelerate the healing process. The procedure involves sampling the patient’s blood and centrifuging it to separate out platelet-rich plasma (growth factors). The plasma is then injected into the treatment area to stimulate the healing and repair of the injured tissue. This step is guided using ultrasound for better precision and effectiveness.

Ultrasound guided injection is not indicated for all patients or for treating all injuries or conditions. Talk with your doctor to see if you are a good candidate.

Process

  • Blood is drawn when patient arrives at the clinic
  • Blood is centrifuged and plasma is extracted
